Is the voice chat genuinely anonymous?
Yes. We don't ask for your real first name, photo or number. Just an email to unlock the mic — and that email is never shown to anyone.
Do I need a webcam?
No. This page is deliberately built without video: mic only. If you want the camera, we've got a dedicated video chat page.
How long does it take to get started?
As a guest you can see who's online and send text straight away, without creating anything. To turn the mic on: 30-second sign-up by email. No card needed.
Are calls recorded?
No. Voice calls go P2P encrypted between the two participants. Nothing is stored server-side, nothing can be replayed.
What if I'm shy and don't want to talk straight away?
Start in text, get a feel for the other person, and only switch the mic on when you decide. No pressure — the voice only goes live when you tap.
