18 months sober and dreading our first dry club night

right so im 18 months off the booze, got sober the year before we even joined a club, but we always said wed try the lifestyle properly once i was steady. now weve got a club night booked in manchester for next saturday and im bricking it. ive only ever been in those rooms in my head as a drinker, even though ive never actually been to one sober. the bit that scares me isnt the play, its the standing around in the bar bit at the start, holding a lime and soda while everyone else loosens up. my wife is fully behind me, she said shed not drink either but i told her dont be daft, she should do what she does. anyone done their first lifestyle thing fully sober and lived to tell the tale...
