so the 70s was peak swinger panic in pop culture right and there are loads of songs that have references hidden in them or just outright lyrics about it. my old man used to play "afternoon delight" and only as an adult did i realise lol. then theres steely dan "hey nineteen" with all the keyparty undertones, the eagles "lyin eyes", carly simon stuff... what songs from that era do you reckon are openly or covertly about the lifestyle, ive been making a playlist for a party in our place in wellington and want to add some properly authentic 70s deep cuts...
