annual full panel at the doc — what specifically do u ASK FOR so they dont miss stuff

F40, going in for my "annual" next wk and i wanna do it properly this yr. last few yrs ive just said "full sti panel pls" and trusted my pcp ordered the right things but i recently saw on here that the "default" panel a lot of GPs run doesnt actually cover everything that matters in the LS. like apparently throat + anal swabs arent done unless u specifically ask?? and hsv-1 + hsv-2 blood antibody tests arent automatic?? i had no idea. dh is going in the same wk. what is the actual list of tests we should be requesting by NAME. anyone have like a script u use w ur doc, esp w pcps who might be a lil judgey if u say "i have multiple partners". feeling kinda dumb that ive been doing this 3 yrs and may have been only half-tested the whole time
