arab/middle eastern background + ls... the cultural weight is huge

we are a couple of arab heritage in our late 20s, both raised in fairly traditional families, both now in the uk. we ve been quietly exploring the scene for about 6 months. and the cultural weight is real. like the secrecy stakes feel higher than for our friends who grew up here. shame is a huge thing in our community, the privacy paranoia is constant, n we havent met another couple from a similar background. has anyone else navigated the cultural / family layer of this. how do u carry it without it eating u alive. how do u find community w ppl who get the specific weight...
