best face blur software, what are you actually using

looked into this for our profile pics and the options are mad. theres apps that just put an emoji on, theres ai stuff that "generates" a different face, theres the classic black bar, theres the swirl blur. each has ppl saying its reversible or trackable or whatever. weve been using a basic gaussian blur in photoshop but i read that some of those can be reversed with ai now... is that even real. what are you lot using and have any of you actually had a "blurred" pic deanonymised. i dont want to be the cautionary tale on some tech blog
