best friend just looked at me across the kitchen island and went "are you guys swingers"

i havent moved off the couch in like 2 hours. so my best friend megan (known her since 2009, bridesmaid, godmother to nobody bc we dont have kids but you get it) came over for wine tonight. and out of NOWHERE while my husband was upstairs in the shower she just goes "ok i have to ask. are you guys swingers or like in an open thing." dead serious eyes. wine glass halfway to her mouth. i did the thing where you laugh like haha what no and it came out so fake it might as well have been a confession. she didnt push she just went "ok" and changed the subject to her sisters wedding. but she KNOWS. she knows i lied and i know she knows. f37 he 39, midwest, married 11 yrs, in the lifestyle for like 3. we are super careful, separate phones, profiles are faceless, we only play 90 min from home. i dont even know how she got there. maybe the weekends "with his cousins" that always coincide w certain dates idk. now what do i do. do i text her tomorrow and come clean. do i pretend it never happened and let it die. she didnt seem judgmental at all, more like... curious almost. but she also could be testing me to confirm before she tells her husband who is friends w MY husbands boss. the boss thing is what im actually losing sleep about. oh and one more thing... part of me is like... weirdly relieved? like if she knows then i finally have one person who knows. is that a trap im setting for myself
