BiM in a couples-only club, felt like a ghost tbh

me and the missus went to a well known club outside manchester last saturday. weve been a few times before, shes bi-friendly with women and we figured it was the same for blokes. nope. i was chatting with another husband in the hot tub, totally normal swinger small talk, and the moment i mentioned i was bi the temperature of the room dropped about 10 degrees. his wife actually pulled him away. nobody was rude exactly, just... invisible. like i stopped existing. my wife was furious on my behalf. is this just how mainstream LS clubs are in 2026 still? cause i thought we were past this. or were we just unlucky with the crowd that night. anyone got recs for actually bi-friendly venues in the uk or should we just stick to house parties
