body hair, full bush vs landing strip vs bare — does it ACTUALLY matter or is everyone just lying to be polite

so this came up because im 28f and i grew out my body hair fully over the last 6 months for personal reasons (gave up on the maintenance basically and turns out i kinda like it). dh is totally into it. but ive noticed since i stopped grooming completely we've been approached less by certain demographics and more by others. like its measurable not just in my head. and on online profiles i see ppl listing preferences subtly ("well groomed" being the polite code i think). i wanna know — among actual lifestyle couples — does body hair actually move the needle for u or do u all just go w whatever the person has when u get there. for women who went natural, did u see ur play pool shift, and for men, would u actually pass on a connection because of hair preference
