booked Hedo II for sept 2026 and im honestly more nervous than excited rn

so we just put down the deposit last weekend after talking about it for like two years and now im actually a bit freaked out lol. dh keeps saying "babe its just an adults resort" but ive read enough that i know its not just an adults resort, its THE adults resort, and im a recovering people-pleaser who blushes at a topless beach pic on instagram. were a couple in our late 30s from austin, been in the LS lifestyle for maybe 3 years but mostly club nights and one meetup with another couple, nothing close to a week at Hedo. im like 5'4 average build curvy, dh is the chill type who just wants to be wherever i am. what im trying to figure out is the stuff that doesnt make it into the brochure or the youtube vlogs. like the nude side vs prude side dynamic, the piano bar thing everyone hints at, what people actually wear to dinner, whether tipping the staff is awkward or expected, the playroom upstairs is that even still a thing in 2026. oh and ive seen people say "go on the right week" — is that real or marketing. were locked in for sept so kinda too late but still want to know what i walked into. also the food, ive seen reviews from "best ive ever had" to "i lost 8 lbs in 6 days" and idk which one is true. basically tell me the things you wish someone had told you before your first Hedo trip. not the IG version. the real version.
