books vs podcasts vs blogs — which of these has actually changed how u practice the lifestyle genuine curiosity post. im someone who reads a LOT and consumes a lot of lifestyle media, podcasts mostly but also long blogs and a few key books over the yrs. weve been at this 6+ yrs as a couple in our forties, and looking back i can pretty clearly trace which decisions in our actual LS practice came from which kind of media. books gave us frameworks for the hard conversations. podcasts gave us... mostly entertainment honestly, maybe one or two genuinely useful concepts in 5 yrs of listening. blogs (especially older anonymous ones from couples 10+ yrs ahead of us) gave us the most actionable stuff by miles, the "heres what we actually do in this scenario" granularity that books are too general for and podcasts are too performative for. anyone else have a clear pattern like this in their own consumption... whats the format that actually changed your practice rather than just entertaining you
