boxing day hangover from a club night and i still have to host my husbands family for lunch... tips?

we had our annual "post-christmas-with-the-in-laws decompression night" at a club in london last night. it was amazing. it was also a four hour drive home this morning. and now in t-minus three hours we have my husbands brother and his wife and their kids over for boxing day leftovers and i look like the crypt keeper. ive done concealer, ive done iced water, ive done a brisk walk around the park. anyone got tried and tested hangover-but-must-host strategies? bonus points if they work when youre trying to hide the fact that youre also a bit smug-glowy from the night before lol. 41 if it matters
