brisbane vs sydney for LS variety, considering the move

were a couple in our late 20s currently in brisbane, decent income, no kids, considering relocating to sydney mostly for career but the LS scene comparison keeps coming up... brisbane has been ok for us, maybe 4-5 clubs we rotate through and a solid couples meetup network. but everyone we've talked to who moved south says sydney is on another level entirely, way more variety, more events, more international visitors. is the difference really that stark or is it just bigger city syndrome
