can i stay in the LS friend group after my divorce or is that weird

so we're calling it after 7 yrs. amicable-ish. the thing is most of our actual closest friends are couples we met through the scene over here in dublin and i don't want to lose them just cuz we lost each other. is it weird if i still go to dinners and parties and stuff as a single person? not even looking to play with anyone right now, just don't wanna lose my people. my ex says he's gonna take a break from the scene for a bit so it's not like we'd be running into each other constantly... has anyone navigated this. feels like everywhere i look the answer is "yeah it's gonna be awkward forever" but i refuse to believe that...
