CEO of a midsize co, very googleable, dh wants to go LS... the linkedin problem i'm the CEO of a 200 person company in manchester, fairly public role, journalists ring me for comment occasionally, conference speaker etc. dh has been gently raising the LS for about 18mo now and im finally warming to the idea but my face is genuinely the first image result for my name and the company name. like i cant exist on any platform without being clocked within a day. how do other publicly visible execs do this?? do you literally never show your face anywhere ever? use different cities only? i feel like the moment someone screenshots and posts it on linkedin im not just out of a job im out of a career bc the board would have a meltdown. but also i love my dh and i can see why he wants this and im not opposed in principle... just the operational reality feels impossible...
