check ins monthly year one weekly year two daily for a bit at year three.. did anyone else do this our check in schedule evolved in this weird inverted pyramid. year 1 we checked in monthly... long sit downs with wine and a notebook honestly. year 2 we moved to weekly bc more was happening. year 3 we hit a rough patch and went daily for like 6 weeks until we re stabilised. now in year 4 we're back to weekly with monthly deep dives. is this overengineered or did other long term ppl find their check in rhythm shifts with the season of the relationship. love hearing how others structure the maintenance side bc the play side gets all the attention online
