client/contractor scenario between adult professionals, how to keep it grounded k slightly different question, me and partner both work in fairly professional roles in our day jobs and weve started doing a "client and contractor" scene where i'm a freelance consultant of some sort and shes "hiring" me for a project. we keep it grounded in stuff we actually know about (cos we both work in pro services) and the whole "i need to impress this client" tension is mental. the question is how do u keep it from feeling like ur just doing ur job? we made a rule that we cant use anything from our actual work (no real client names, no real projects)... but i wonder if others have a different approach. anyone else done a pro services style scene?
