condom free with our regular couple while trying for a baby... advice

were starting ttc next month. we have one regular couple weve been seeing for 3 yrs, full swap, condom free with them since year 1 (yearly screens for everyone, monogamish lifestyle wise). question is... do we keep things as is during ttc?? the obvious risk is timing. if we conceive and theres any cycle ambiguity i dont want to have to question it. but also the timing window is small and we know our cycles well. has anyone managed this w a regular couple. did u pause, did u switch to barriers, did u just track tightly and not stress
