condoms vs skyn vs hex... whats actually best for play nights

asking because we've had three different bloke partners in the last few months and each one had a strong opinion. one swore by lelo hex, said they "grip differently" whatever that means, another only uses skyn bc latex makes him itchy, and the third just chucked a durex thin feel at me and said get on with it... my husband doesnt mind either way but im the one buying them and i want to stop guessing. so genuine question — whats the consensus on skyn for non allergic people, are hex actually worth the money, and what do you keep as your bring along for partners who didnt pack their own. also do you bother with flavoured ones for oral or is that just naff...
