couples go ice cold the second they realise i'm not their fantasy

this keeps happening and i need to sense check it. i'm a solo woman, bristol, mid thirties, bi. couples message me really warm, we chat for a week or two, i suggest a drink in public no expectations and the temperature drops about twenty degrees. they get vague suddenly busy, the wife stops replying, the husband sends one weird late night message. i think what's going on is they had a very specific fantasy version of me in their head and the moment i become a real woman with opinions and a schedule they lose interest. it's knackering tbh. am i reading this right or is there something i should do differently in my profile...
