couples-only platform vs single-friendly — which do we pick first

we (37F 40M) are about to set up our first profile and the choice is between going on something thats mostly couples (Kasidie leans that way) vs something more mixed where solo women and even some solo men are part of the mix (SLS). we are looking for couples primarily and maybe a unicorn rarely if the right person comes up but we dont want to be swimming in single guy messages all day. dh thinks if we restrict to couples-only we cut out 70% of the noise from the jump. i think going where the volume is and filtering hard might give us more options even with the extra spam. opinions from people whove done both setups
