disabilities + play, wheelchair, prosthetic, partial paralysis — share what u know

im a 39yo wife, dh is 41 and has partial paralysis on his left side from a stroke 6 yrs ago. mostly mobile w a cane, some limitations w certain positions and stamina. we re entered the scene maybe a year ago and its been hit or miss. some couples have been amazing and adaptive, some have been weirdly distant after meeting him like they didnt know it was that visible (his profile pic shows him standing, his bio mentions limited mobility tho). i wanted to start a real conversation about disability in LS spaces. for anyone playing with a physical disability (urs or ur partners), what have ur experiences been... how do u disclose, what positions/setups actually work, how do u find couples who dont treat u as fragile or as a charity case but as actual play partners. and for ppl whove played with a disabled partner, what did u learn that u wish ud known going in
