diwali at the in-laws in leicester and they have no idea about our lifestyle... is that ever going to change?

so we just got back from diwali week with my husbands family in leicester. beautiful, warm, food coma, so much love. and my mother in law spent the whole week dropping hints about how its time we had a second child and how "married life needs nurturing" etc. meanwhile we've been in the lifestyle for four years and our marriage is genuinely the strongest its ever been because of it. obviously we're never telling them. but i sometimes wonder if any british asian couples in here have ever had that conversation with traditional families? or do you just keep two completely separate worlds forever? im 38, my husband 41, no judgement just curious how others navigate it. our families are everything but they're also from a very different generation
