does the verified badge on SLS or Kasidie actually mean anything to people

we just verified our profile on SLS (the hold up a sign with the date + username thing). took us a weirdly long time to do because we kept feeling awkward about it but its done. question is — does anyone actually look at the badge and feel different about a profile. like is it real social currency or is it just a checkbox. asking because we are debating doing the same on Kasidie which has a different verification process and we are not sure if its worth the hassle if nobody really cares. our gut says verified couples probably get more responses but maybe thats wishful thinking. id love to hear from people who actually message couples — do you check verification before responding or is it a "nice to have" you barely notice
