drove from cardiff to manchester for a club, worth it?

so we did the thing this weekend, four hour drive each way from cardiff to one of the bigger manchester clubs we've heard about for ages... mixed feelings. the club itself was great, way more energy and variety than anything in south wales, met some lovely people. but the drive back monday morning was brutal and we both felt off for two days. do people regularly do these epic drives for clubs or did we just confirm we should stick to our local scene and travel less
