felt low key coerced by a "professional" couple... is that a thing...

met a couple who present as proper polished experienced lifestyle people, theyve been doing this 10 years, run a private group, the works. we had drinks, agreed to a soft swap at a hotel. once we were there things kept escalating past what wed verbally agreed in the bar. it wasnt forceful, more like... gentle constant pressure. "youll love it" "everyone does this" "youre being too in your head" type comments every time i hesitated. we left without doing the full thing and they made us feel like we were the problem. is this a known dynamic from "professional" couples? we are in melbourne and feel really shaken honestly
