"first date" replay with strangers in the room as audience, anyone tried?

bit of a niche one this... me and partner have been together 11 yrs and one night at a private in leeds someone suggested we "replay our first date" in front of the room. so we did the whole thing, the awkward bit where i didnt know whether to kiss her, the bit where she spilled wine on her dress... then it slowly turned into actual play with everyone watching and joining in by the end. it was way more emotional than i expected? like we both got proper soft about each other. anyone else done a "replay" type scene where ur reliving something real but in front of others? curious if its just us being weird or if its more common...
