first solo trip to a resort as newbies...

we booked a week at a lifestyle resort in mexico back in january, just us, no group, no friends out there. we'd only been on the scene 8 months and honestly i was BRICKING it. did anyone else go to a resort really early in their LS journey and what do you wish you'd known... we spent the first two days basically hiding by the pool. by day four we'd made some friends and ended up having the best week of our marriage but those first 48 hours were rough. tips for newbies considering it...
