folk festival ls is the most niche niche, anyone else here

so we're a folk couple, ceilidhs in cork n trad sessions in galway, my partner plays bodhran n i sing... we go to celtic connections in glasgow every yr, sidmouth in summer, n we've discovered there's a Tiny ls undercurrent at these festivals... like maybe 5-6 couples we know now, we share bottles after the sessions, end up in late night flats, n it's become this beautiful annual rhythm... is this scene anywhere else? does the trad music thing somehow filter for thoughtful expressive ppl who happen to also be ls? we're thinking of trying the cape breton fest in canada next yr n hoping the vibe transfers... anyone got intel
