gender-affirming surgery recovery, when did you return to LS play

i had bottom surgery 4 months ago and the recovery has been mostly textbook, my surgical team in cape town has been great, but i'm starting to think about returning to the LS and i have no idea how to time it. the medical clearance is one thing, the emotional readiness is another, and the practical "i have a completely different body and i need to learn it before involving other people" is a third. how did other people who've had bottom surgery (or top surgery, or facial) pace their return? did you re-enter solo first? with your partner only? did you wait until a specific milestone or just trust your gut? in cape town if any local insight is useful but happy to hear from anywhere...
