genuinely tired of being someone's "unicorn" can we please retire that word ok rant incoming sorry. i'm 31 london based been in the scene about three years and i swear if one more couple opens with "we've been searching for our unicorn" i'm going to lose it. like mate i'm a person not a mythical creature you've been hunting in the woods. it puts so much pressure on the first meet because they've built this whole fantasy of what i'm meant to be and then i show up and i'm just... a woman who works in marketing and has a cat and likes red wine. i don't want to be the prize at the end of your quest i just want to flirt and see if we vibe. anyone else feel the language itself is part of the problem or am i being precious about it...
