group thank you message vs individual texts, what feels right?

we had a really lovely night with two other couples, six of us total, at a private gathering in someone's rented place. next morning question came up between me and my husband: do we do one group message to the whatsapp we're all in saying thanks, or do we send four separate messages to each of the other people? group feels efficient but a bit impersonal. individual feels more thoughtful but is it weird to text someone's partner privately the morning after? we don't want anyone feeling singled out or excluded. proper etiquette unclear
