half our year zero rules are dead by year two and somehow we're fine

looking back at the notes app list we made before our first event... lmao. 'no kissing' gone by month 4. 'same room only' gone by year 1. 'no sleepovers' negotiable now. 'we never play apart' still holding but flexible. is it healthy that rules evolve this much or did we just get desensitised. friend of ours in perth said her marriage has the exact same rules at year 6 as year 0 and we're like... how. genuinely curious if other long term LS couples find their rules dissolve or if they're still strict. we feel safe but i sometimes wonder
