has anyone actually stayed at a proper lifestyle friendly b&b in the uk and was it worth it

keep seeing the odd listing online for "adult only, lifestyle friendly, couples welcome" type b&bs and small hotels around the uk, mostly bristol way and one in the south coast and a couple of cottages in wales. always wondered if these are actually any good or if its just a marketing thing for swingers club adjacent venues that are a bit grotty. wed love to have a place where you dont have to whisper, where the host isnt going to look askance if two couples turn up at the same room, where the breakfast room is actually a vibe not a forced silence between strangers. but my partner is worried that "lifestyle friendly b&b" means tired bedding and a weird host. anyone got real experience, are they worth seeking out or are you better off just renting a normal cottage and bringing your own crew
