ok so this is gonna sound petty but I need to say it out loud somewhere. we did a soft swap with another couple, mid 30s like us, been in the LS about a year, found em on the app, met for drinks twice before. everything was great on paper, chemistry was real, no weird vibes. the issue is when dh finished with her it was... different. like a sound I have never heard out of his mouth in 11 years. she literally said "wow babe you ok" lol after. and Ive been replaying it in my head ever since. I came too, I had a good night, but in the car on the way home I went quiet and he asked what was wrong and I lied and said tired. I dont think hes gonna leave me, thats not the fear. its more like... am I not enough?? have I been not enough this whole time?? he was sweet about it after, said it was the newness and she was kinda loud which got him going, but it doesnt help bc Ive never been loud and now I feel like I should have been all along. how do you guys live with that little video clip in your head. is it just time. is it talking. bc Ive tried both and the sound is still in there at 2am tbh.
