high risk hpv at my smear and i don't know how to think about LS now

got the letter last week. high risk hpv detected with low grade cell changes. colposcopy booked in toronto in 3 weeks. i'm 42, dh and i have been LS about 6 years, mostly soft swap and a handful of full swaps. i'm not panicking medically, the nurse on the phone was great and said this is incredibly common and most of it clears up by itself. what i am struggling with is what this means for us going forward. hpv is everywhere, condoms reduce but don't prevent it, and you can carry it for years before it shows. do i tell future play partners? do i pause everything til the colposcopy? dh got the boys vaccinated yrs ago thankfully but he's not been vaccinated himself. is it daft for him to get the jab in his 40s. would love to hear from anyone who's been thru this
