hosting 3 other couples at our cottage in the cotswolds next month help

right so weve booked this stone cottage near stow-on-the-wold for a long weekend in october and somehow ended up inviting three other couples we play with regularly... its 4 bedrooms, fireplace, big kitchen, hot tub in the garden, the whole bit. me and the missus have hosted at home before but never anything like this where everyones sleeping over for 3 nights. main worry is the bed situation honestly. do we just say first come first served on rooms or do we assign? and what about playspace, the lounge is huge but theres no door... also wondering if its weird to do like a welcome drinks thing on the friday so everyone can chat before anything happens or if thats too formal. the four of us hosts know each other well, two of the other couples have met once at a club but the third hasnt met anyone. nervous about chemistry imbalance tbh. anyone done a full weekend hosting multiple couples and got tips, the logistics are doing my head in
