husband works fifo to perth 3 weeks on 1 off... do we play apart or wait til hes home

so hes been doing the fifo thing for nearly a year now, three weeks at the mine site outside perth then one week home in adelaide. we got into the lifestyle about 6 months before he started this gig and now were stuck wondering how it even works. when hes home its honestly amazing, we want all his attention on me not on some other couple. but three weeks is a long time and i get curious... hes basically in a camp with no options anyway lol. anyone else doing fifo and the LS? do you just pause everything til the off week or do you each play separately while apart...
