irish scene outside dublin... is there anything actually happening in cork or galway??

we're cork based and every irish LS conversation seems to start and end with dublin... which is fine if u live in dublin but we don't and the round trip is a 6 hour day at best. is there ANY scene in cork or galway or even limerick at this point or do we all just suck it up and drive to the capital?? i refuse to believe there aren't enough couples in munster to sustain a small meet at least. or are we all just being too quiet about it and assuming no one else is up for it. genuine cry for help from a frustrated couple...
