jealousy of hubby playing in another country while i cant... how do other ldr partners deal

hes been in cape town for work for 3 months and were both allowed solo play. problem is im in a small town in new zealand and the local LS scene is basically nonexistent, while hes in a city with a huge active scene and tons of options. he tells me about his nights and i try to be excited for him but honestly i feel sick with jealousy. its not that hes playing, its that hes GETTING to play and im not, and hes the one who left for the job. anyone else been on the disadvantaged end of an LDR LS arrangement... how do u manage the unfairness that isnt anyones fault but still hurts
