kitchen-table poly people showing up at swinger clubs giving very different energy, is it just me

so the venue we go to twice a month has shifted over the last yr or so and i can't quite name the vibe but i think its KTP people kinda moving in. like couples bringing their meta to the club, hugging at the bar for 10 mins before drinks, processing in the smoking area, group of 5-6 sitting in the lounge talking abt their google calendar for the polycule like its a startup standup lol. not hating, just trying to understand. its not the swingers Im used to where everyone is friendly but you don't need to meet your hookups boyfriends sister for coffee next week. and im noticing it changes the feel of the venue, conversations are heavier, more relationship-talk, less "lets have a drink and see who we click with". f42 m44, in the LS for like 8 yrs, we're definitely on the "lets have fun and go home to our marriage" end. polyam friends i have are wonderful people. but the energy DIFFERENCE between LS-coded and poly-coded at the same club is so loud i can feel it walking in. like the music is the same and the lighting is the same and the dress code is the same but the room feels emotionally heavier. am i imagining this. is this happening at other clubs. is the swinger / poly line dissolving and im just behind. or are we right to feel like these are actually different scenes even when they share a venue.
