lelo or we-vibe for actual use in front of another couple, not just at home, whats less awkward in practice
ok so my partner and i (im the woman, hes the bloke, both late 30s, edinburgh, on the scene almost 4 yrs) have always used toys at home no drama but weve only really started bringing them into play with another couple in the last yr or so and im realising the home toy and the social-play toy are very different objects. at home i love my we-vibe chorus, hands free, app, my partner can mess with it from the next room, brilliant. but ive tried to wear it once at a club and it just felt like... too much tech in a moment that didnt need it. there was a faff of "wait its disconnected" and "is the app crashing" and by the time it was working the moment had passed. lelo i used to be intimidated by the price tag but a friend has a sona 2 and swears its the only toy she trusts to bring out at a meet bc its silent-ish and you dont have to pair anything. what im trying to work out is whether for actual play with another couple a simpler toy is just better than a tech-heavy one. the wow factor of "look babe its bluetooth" is fun on a sofa at home but in a play room with 4 ppl half undressed nobody wants to be on an app. but at the same time the we-vibe chorus inside me with my partner across the room having his hand on the dial is one of my favourite memories of last yr and i dont want to leave that at home forever just bc its complicated. how are other couples splitting it. do you have a "home toy" and a "social toy" or do you bring the same one everywhere. and is the lelo build quality genuinely worth the price difference long term or is it the same silicone with a fancier box
