lingerie that actually survives a club night vs the stuff that just photographs nice, whats holding up for you

right so im in my late 30s, hes mid 40s, weve been on the scene around manchester and the odd weekend up to leeds for about 5 yrs now. and i swear ive wasted a small fortune on lingerie that looked stunning under the bathroom light at home and then fell apart at a takeover by like 11pm. honey birdette stuff i bought duty free coming back from sydney last yr is gorgeous, no question, but the clasps are designed for ppl who are standing still in a hotel mirror taking pics for their bloody story. the second a guy actually undoes anything in the dark on a sofa its sad. agent provocateur ive only owned one set bc i could never justify the price but tbf the AP set has done 6 nights now and still looks new, the lace is properly different. lovehoney i kept buying bc its cheap and cheerful and the satin chemise stuff is genuinely fine but their "premium" lace tier feels like its costumed for a hen do not for an actual night. what im trying to figure out is, is there a middle ground im missing. like is bondara worth the cheaper stuff for the rotation pieces and then save the AP for the nights that matter. or is everyone just doing what i do which is bring 2 outfits, the photo one for arrivals and a backup that you can actually be undressed out of without it ripping. also any of you found a brand that does the lace bralette + thong + suspenders combo that wraps small in a weekender bag, that bit kills me every time we travel for a hotel takeover. genuinely curious what other ladies who go regularly actually wear bc the divide between insta lingerie and "i need to wear this for 6 hrs in a hot room" is becoming a real problem for my wardrobe
