LS in regional NZ vs auckland, the contrast is wild

moved from auckland to a small town in the bay of plenty last year for lifestyle reasons (the non LS kind of lifestyle haha)... had no idea how different the scene would be. auckland we were spoilt with three clubs, weekly munches, easily five or six options every weekend. here its basically a whatsapp group of six couples and we've already played with most of them. anyone else made this kind of move and how did you adapt — give up the scene, travel back, or just accept the new normal
