morning after group chat with our regular play group is half in english half in three other languages and im out

ok this is a small thing but it's niggling. we've been playing with the same loose group of 4-5 couples in birmingham for about a year now. nice crowd. and there's a whatsapp group for organising. and the morning after group chat is...... chaos. so the makeup is, us (both british), a french-british couple, an italian-british couple, and a couple where shes brazilian and hes british. and the morning after every meet, the chat starts in english and then within about 20 messages its half english half french with the french couple, italian voice notes from him to her, and the brazilian wife dropping portuguese in when shes excited. nothing is for us specifically but i find myself sitting there with google translate open going "ok what did they all say". partner thinks im being precious. shes like "they're not talking about us, they're just being themselves". which i know. but theres a low key fomo of being the only fully monolingual couple in a group where everyone has a language to drop into when they want to. like we don't have a "we mode" we can switch into mid-thread. is this a me problem or has anyone actually addressed this in their play group without sounding like the world's most boring english person.
