my wife was called a slur at a club, we left, what do we do now

this happened last weekend n im still shaking writing this. were a couple, my wife is black south african, im white south african, we re both based in joburg n occasionally cape town. we were at a club we d been to before, no issues previously. some bloke at the bar said something to my wife n it included a slur. clear, ugly, unmistakable. we left immediately, told the host on our way out, didnt make a scene. now what. do we report formally. do we name him publicly somewhere. do we just never go back n move on. how do other couples handle the aftermath of something like this. she is hurting n i am too n im trying to figure out what helps...
