new years eve takeovers vs cosy at home... whats ur preference

we used to LOVE the big nye club takeovers... london, leeds, the big ones with 100+ ppl, dressed to the nines, midnight kisses everywhere. but the last 2 yrs we've done cosy at home instead, just one other couple, fizz on the sofa, play if it happens, sleep before 2am. and honestly... the at-home ones have been better. is that just us getting older or is there a broader thing happening with nye in the LS? curious what ppl prefer and why. the takeover crowd vs the cosy crowd... where do u land and has it changed over the yrs for u
