nieces christening on saturday morning and a lifestyle weekend that finishes saturday lunchtime... can i pull this off? right. logistical nightmare incoming. couples weekend booked at a country house hotel in the cotswolds friday night through saturday midday. my brother in laws daughters christening starts at 11am on saturday in cheltenham. they're about 40 minutes apart. ive done the maths and its theoretically possible if we leave the hotel by 9.30, drive over, change at the petrol station like absolute degenerates, and slide into the back of the church looking presentable. my husband is up for it. im 50/50. on the one hand we've had this weekend booked for ages with two other couples we love. on the other hand my sister in law will literally never forgive me if we're late. have any of you pulled off a juggle like this and lived to tell? am i mental for considering it?
