NIN 2024 was magical, NIN 2025 felt... different. anyone else feel a vibe shift

this might just be us but i want to ask. we've done naughty in n'awlins three times now, 2022, 2024, 2025. 2022 was our first and it was overwhelming in a great way, 2024 was honestly the best vacation of our entire 12 year relationship, like cried-at-the-airport-going-home level good. and then 2025 was... fine? but somehow off? we're mid 40s couple, mostly attend the daytime stuff and the costume parties at night, less the playroom seminars. and idk what it was but the 2025 felt more corporate or something. more brand sponsorships everywhere, the hotel takeover side felt smaller, the after-parties seemed more spread out across more venues which meant less concentration of the LS crowd in any one place. also the demographic felt a little different to me. more single men with day passes (probably nothing changed, im probably just imagining it), fewer of the "regulars" we'd normally bump into year over year. the 2024 felt like a family reunion, the 2025 felt like a convention. am i imagining this. did anyone else go both years and feel a shift. is this just nostalgia distortion or did NIN actually change between 2024 and 2025. and if it changed should we go to 2026 or take a year off.
