older bodies in lifestyle media — anyone else notice how invisible we are

im 56f, dh is 59, weve been in the lifestyle on and off for almost 25 yrs. recently ive been looking at LS websites, club promo materials, podcasts, instagram for the scene etc and ive noticed how almost every visible image is of ppl 30s and early 40s. ppl in their 50s, 60s, 70s exist in the scene, often in big numbers actually, but somehow we're not represented in the visual culture of the lifestyle at all. is anyone else noticing this and does it bother u or am i just feeling my age this week lol. and for younger ppl in the scene — does the lack of visible older couples affect how u think about LS aging, like do u see ur own future in it or does it feel like it ends at 45. id love to hear from across the age spectrum on this one
